Tricia’s Story – All on Four

I live quite a way from Lymm on the Wirral. When I went to visit my NHS dentist I was seen by a Polish dentist who I felt was very abrupt and judgmental, and told me off for being a smoker and after examining me informed me that the only option open to me was dentures – I left there feeling I had lost my faith in dentists.

I was so devastated and depressed by this news – I knew that I didn’t want to wear dentures – no one, particularly me should go to bed with their teeth in a glass! So, I went to visit Gary Moore a Dental Technician in Heswall about dentures with a heavy heart, believing that my only option open to me was dentures. It was Gary who suggested the idea of All on Four and recommended that I should book a consultation at Dental Solutions.

I did some research online, liked what I saw, and I came in and met Gavin, Nicky and the team who instantly reassured me, didn’t judge me either and after some tests felt that I was suitable for the All on Four treatment.

I genuinely think that Nicky and Gavin are my superheroes – they have been there for me throughout my treatment every step of the way. When I saw my new smile for the first time I genuinely didn’t know what to say or express how I felt – it was my smile back once again – it looked completely natural and part of me.

My life has changed completely now. I retired from my job a while ago as a drug and alcohol abuse counsellor. I am so much more confident now – I have lost two and a half stone through healthy eating and Slimming World. I am going out more socialising I am now considering doing some voluntary work with dementia patients. Thanks so much for everything guys – you are my angels in Warrington.
