Unfortunately after the first lockdown last year, I had a problem where two of the crowns and a bridge that I had on my upper front teeth for the past 35 years came out. I had called my usual dentist in Runcorn and was told that as I wasn’t in pain and as it wasn’t a dental emergency they refused to treat me. As far as I was concerned, it most definitely was an emergency to me- they were my front teeth!
My husband Ken is a keen rowing coach and Dental Solutions have an association with Warrington Rowing Club so we decided to get in touch and ask if they could see me. I was quickly booked in for an appointment with Gavin who immediately said he could help me. I was so relieved to know that I was no longer going to have to have a gap in my smile. Gavin proposed 2 dental implants with a bridge to replace the missing teeth and organised a treatment plan, with the implant surgery conducted by Richard Brookshaw.
I was so relieved by the whole experience- whilst implant surgery itself isn’t pleasant, I genuinely felt no pain whatsoever and the treatment took just an hour. Gavin and Richard are both lovely and any hint of nervousness is soon dispelled- they know what they are doing. I used to be quite nervous about going to the dentist but I made myself go every 6 months. Now both Ken and I are intending to join Dental Solutions permanently.
I’m not ashamed to admit that when I first saw my finished teeth in the mirror after the treatment was completed that I cried. I was so happy with the result- my smile looks completely natural. The fact that the implants are a permanent replacement too- no more broken crowns!
So to anyone thinking about getting in touch for treatment I would say that Dental Solutions are a really good practice- they make a point of putting you at ease, and everyone there from the Reception team to the Dentists are friendly and warm, even behind their masks.
