Whilst looking through the photos of a friend’s wedding, I noticed that my front tooth was really sticking out. I had had braces as a child but over time my front tooth had moved to the point where it had become noticeable and was affecting my inner confidence. My friend had also recently had braces and raved about the results which gave me the final push to go and get it done for myself. Until then I thought I would have to wear a brace for years, not realising how quick the results could be nowadays.
I shopped around a number of practices for a quote for six month smiles treatment, and there wasn’t a great deal of difference in price. Dental Solutions wasn’t the cheapest but the practice felt and looked much nicer, the team were friendlier and I liked Sophie’s approachability and professionalism from the moment we met. She didn’t seem remotely fazed by my barrage of questions either.
The treatment took just ten months from start to finish – nothing was too much trouble for Sophie and I had some extra appointments to make some additional refinements to achieve my perfect smile. During the treatment itself I felt paranoid about my smile for the first 4 weeks and worried about what people would say – however no one seemed remotely bothered. In fact one of my work colleagues said he hadn’t noticed my braces after I had been wearing them for over 6 months!
Now the six month smiles treatment is complete I feel much more confident and have received lots of compliments, especially from my dentist cousin who lives in the South who thinks they look fantastic – praise indeed.
I also took advantage of the free whitening that was part of the package offered to me – my teeth now look absolutely amazing, and having a photo taken now is a pleasurable experience.
