How You Can Design Your New Smile With A Smile Makeover

If you’re self-conscious about your smile or your teeth, then you might feel as though there is little you can do to fix it and boost your confidence. If you have missing or crooked teeth or are unhappy with stains, chips or broken teeth, then we understand how this can have a huge impact on your confidence.

Here at Dental Solutions, we can help you design a new smile with our Smile Makeover treatment and improve or enhance your smile by making your teeth whiter, straighter and brighter, rebuilding any broken teeth and filling gaps in your smile. With a smile makeover, we can build you a new smile by combining a number of our dental techniques, such as veneers in Warrington, composite bonding, composite finishing, crowns, implants and orthodontics. If you are interested in designing your new smile with a smile makeover, then here is how we can help you navigate the best treatment options in order to achieve your new perfect smile.

What Is a Smile Makeover?

A smile makeover is the process involved when creating your new smile and improving the overall health and appearance of your teeth and gums with a number of different dental procedures. There are a number of components taken into consideration when we help you to design your new smile, such as your facial appearance, gum tissue, teeth colour, width, length and shape and lips, which then helps to decide which treatments would be best for you and your smile makeover in order to achieve your desired results.

After your initial consultation and once you start your treatment with us, we will then proceed to a records appointment where we will look at the health of your jaw, teeth and gum foundation by using x-rays and visual assessments and then go on to make models of your teeth. If there are certain aspects of your smile or teeth appearance that you aren’t happy with, then our expert team of dentists can work with you to create a treatment plan to combat this.

Latest Technology

At Dental Solutions, we use some of the latest dental technology to provide you with the best results, whilst also ensuring that your treatment is as comfortable as possible. When creating your new smile, we use the new iTero Element scanner for our orthodontic and smile makeover patients. By using this new technology, we can use the scanner whilst it instantly transfers the image onto the screen in order to create a 3D visualisation. This then allows the dentist to plan the right smile makeover treatment for you and help you to get an idea of what your new smile will look like. It can also help us when planning crowns, veneers, dental implants and composite bonding. By investing in the latest technology, we can offer our patients the highest level of care and the best results.

What Are The Stages Involved With A Smile Makeover?

Here at Dental Solutions, we understand that every smile is unique and different, so depending on what you want your new smile to look like, the stages involved with your smile makeover will differ. There are, however, stages that are more common with patients.

Aligning Crooked Teeth

During a smile makeover, a large number of patients will need crooked teeth realignment. This can be done using a number of different techniques, including using orthodontics such as Invisalign or Quick Straight Teeth to rotate, move and twist teeth back into a straighter position. Then, as part of the final stages of realignment, veneers, crowns or composite bonding in Warrington can be used to fill in gaps or rebuild teeth that are missing or damaged to give you your desired new smile.

Teeth Whitening

When creating your new smile, we know that you want to feel as confident as possible with the final look. If you have stained or darkened teeth, then we have a few treatments which can be used to remove stubborn stains. We prefer to maintain as much natural tooth structure as possible, so one of the best ways to whiten stained or darkened teeth is by using a combination of tooth whitening and air abrasion, called Airflow.

Airflow uses very fine sand particles which are gently blasted over the surface of the tooth and, whilst this doesn’t whiten the teeth themselves, it works to remove surface stains. We have a range of different teeth whitening options here at Dental Solutions, from our Premium Enlighten whitening treatment which guarantees the lightest possible B1 natural white shade, Zoom! Whitening or home whitening kits.
