The anti-ageing treatment of Botox® is a well-known Facial Rejuvenation procedure. It effectively reduces wrinkles and lines caused by frowns, as well as around the eye and forehead. The benefit of Botox® is the fact that it is virtually pain-free to administer and fast to perform in around 15 minutes – you could have the treatment in your lunch hour! And the fact that the results last around 6 months means that the time investment is perfectly outweighed by the results.
For lines in more delicate areas of the face, fillers may be a better treatment option. At Dental Solutions, we use two products called Juvederm® and Revolax®. They help to define and give fullness to the tissue around the mouth, nose and lip area. The results of the filler treatment are maintained for approximately 9 months, at which time the material will be absorbed naturally and harmlessly back into the body. The treatment is also extremely discreet, so no one need know you came in for anything but the usual dental check up!
