Porcelain Veneers

Dental Veneers

If you feel that your teeth just don’t look quite right together – they might be slightly different colours, or one could be a little twisted or shorter than the others, then veneers may be the solution you have been searching for.

‘My veneers match perfectly and I feel twenty years younger. I travelled 70 miles to see Gavin and his team since I moved out of the area, I just couldn’t find another dentist who cared as much as Gavin.’

Removing the tiniest amount of enamel from the front of the desired tooth to be replaced with porcelain gives us the scope to dramatically change the appearance of your teeth, without compromising their health. The resulting veneer is incredibly strong when bonded to your tooth and treating one or more of your teeth will give you the beautiful, natural looking smile you are looking for.

We have treated hundreds of patients with dental veneers from all over Cheshire and the North West of England. Some patients even travel from as far away as London to have veneer treatment at Dental Solutions. Our veneers are performed by our experienced team of dentists headed by Dr Gavin Laidlaw, the Principal dentist at Dental Solutions. Gavin Laidlaw is a full member of the BACD, the British Association of Cosmetic Dentists and is highly experienced in this area of dentistry. Please ask us too about Lumineers veneers – the no drill, no anaesthetic, no temporary, reversible way to improve your smile.

Composite Veneers

This is a relatively new form of veneers treatment which is a lower cost alternative to porcelain veneers. It is a less invasive treatment as no enamel is shaved from the affected tooth. However their durability is not the same as porcelain veneers – it’s usually 4-8 years versus 10-15 years.

We are able to offer you a consultation without obligation to see if Veneers are a suitable option for you.

Veneers FAQs

Although your new teeth should give you the confidence to live life to the full and to smile with confidence, there are some foods you may want to avoid if you want to maintain them for as long as possible. Tough, hard or chewy foods could damage your temporary dental veneers, however, once you’ve got your fixed veneers in place, and they’ve fully healed, you should be able to eat a full and balanced diet.

Although the process of getting dental implants fitted can seem daunting, the truth is that it shouldn’t hurt at all! We go above and beyond to ensure the area is suitably numbed, so you won’t feel any pain or discomfort during the procedure. However, it is totally normal to feel some discomfort afterwards, but as your new smile begins to heal, this should ease.

Absolutely! One of the best bits about opting for dental veneers is that they’re super easy to maintain! In fact, all you need to do is brush and floss regularly – much like you would with your natural teeth. You may also find your veneers stay whiter and brighter for longer if you avoid certain food and drinks, such as coffee, red wine or berries which could lead to some staining over time.

But – by keeping up with your daily hygiene, and attending routine appointments – you should find your dental veneers in Warrington last for many years to come.

Mike's Story Veneers

I have had quite a bit of treatment with Gavin to get my teeth back to good health – an extraction of one of my back teeth, 2 root canal treatments, a crown and some veneers. I now visit the hygienist twice a year and they have helped me get my teeth back in good health once again.

Amy's Veneers Story

I always used Editor on Instagram and Facebook to adjust my smile on the photo before putting it up. We preferred Gavin’s suggestion of building up the smaller teeth with white fillings and covering the white patch with a veneer.

When I saw my new smile I was overwhelmed – it was the perfect smile that I always wanted. Plus I no longer need to use an editor on my smile! Thanks so much to all the team for their great service and expertise – I really love my new smile.
