Over 4,000 people had attended the European Association for Osseointegration’s (EAO) 23rd scientific meeting in Rome last September. Dentists and industry specialists gathered from across the world to hear international experts talk about the latest developments in implant dentistry.
One of these experts was our very own Dr Richard Brookshaw, who presented his paper entitled: A graftless technique using steriolithography and CT planning software for immediate loading protocols in the severely atrophic maxilla: Quad Zygoma
He was selected to present his paper in preference to many other entries.
He is both nationally and internationally respected as a lecturer in All aspects of Implant Dentistry, especially immediately loaded same day implants, All-on-4® and zygomatic implants.
We are very proud to have Dr Richard Brookshaw as a dental implant surgeon at Dental Solutions Lymm. In the last three years alone he has placed more than 1,500 dental implants and he is also one of the few implant surgeons in the UK to use an advanced technique in the upper jaw using specially designed zygomatic implants.
Zygomatic implants are a great alternative for those patients for whom traditional dental implants are unsuitable due to extreme bone loss. This procedure does not require any type of bone graft and we have seen some incredible transformations from patients who never thought they could have dental implants.
