Sometime we will require a deposit when you book an appointment.

This will be deducted from your bill for the relevant treatment at your next visit. We understand that things sometimes come up and that you may need to make changes to your appointment. We will always be as flexible as possible with our patients – that’s why the deposit will be refunded if you subsequently cancel the appointment with more than 48 hours’ notice.

However, we reserve the right to retain your deposit in case of late cancellations (any cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice) or fail to attend appointments. This may sound strict, but quite simply if you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice it is very difficult for us to rebook your appointment slot or slots which means that we are unlikely to treat another patient in your place. This means that our team will not be treating any patients, but we’ll still have to pay them all and all of our running costs, so we will genuinely be significantly out of pocket, and it means that lovely patients just like you will have had to wait longer than they needed to for an appointment.

We will always try to be sensitive to personal circumstances in the event of late cancellations.

Deposit Structure

  • All new patients pay £70 deposit upon booking. This £70 is either redeemable against your exam, x-rays or further treatment and cosmetic treatment such as implants, braces, veneers and crowns etc.
  • Any new patients booking general clinical treatment under 1hr we take another deposit of £50 this will come off your treatment on the day. Basically, you’ll stay in credit until your treatment is completed.
  • Any new and existing patients needing treatment which is over 1hr long we take £150 deposit on booking. Again, this will come off your treatment on the day.
  • Any patients booking implants or treatment that is over 2hrs long we take a £300 deposit on booking which come off the treatment on the day.

Please see our cancellation policy for more information. If your appointment time becomes inconvenient for you, we are always happy to change it if you provide us with two business days (48hrs) notice. This allows us to schedule in a patient who may be in urgent need of our care.

Missed appointments and late cancellations may represent a cost or the loss of your treatment deposit if you fail to give the practice the adequate notice.
