Dental crowns may be used in a variety of situations:
A crown is usually bonded into place with a special dental cement or screwed into place over an implant post.
The usual way we make a crown is by using a dental impression and/or a scan of your existing tooth. We then create a crown with the help of a team of skilled experts working under high-tech laboratory conditions. It usually takes two weeks to complete your finished crown. It is a very detailed procedure which also involves firing the crown at high temperatures in a special kiln to provide its longevity and durability.
We also offer you the option of a temporary crown while your new crown is being created, so that you never have to feel as though you have a broken tooth on show when you smile.
Our dental crowns at Dental Solutions are mostly manufactured using very hard-wearing ceramic materials. We feel that using this material offers the most attractive restoration of your original tooth. Our experienced team of dentists and laboratory technicians ensure that the crown matches your surrounding teeth perfectly to give you a natural smile.
