I was one of those people who used to be incredibly embarrassed about the state of their teeth, mostly because I was terrified of the dentist. I hadn’t been to a see one for several years.
In the end, I plucked up the courage to pick up the phone, having googled dental practices across the North West and liking what I saw on the Dental Solutions website. The team at Dental Solutions were amazing from the first initial consultation, and I felt as though I was in safe hands. They began the slow painstaking progress of getting my teeth healthy again and helping me to overcome my fear of coming to the dentist. In particular, I’d like to mention Vicky their hygienist who was brilliant – she’s incredibly gentle and was the one who encouraged me to go to the next step of getting my teeth straightened with Badri.
When I went to see him, he recommended fixed braces on my upper and lower teeth so I decided to take the plunge. I was astounded that people don’t comment about wearing braces- although I fully expected them to, and wasn’t really that bothered if they had done. My treatment took just a year from start to finish. The only bit that I didn’t like was when Badri fitted elastic bands for a short period of my treatment. When I left the surgery after he’d fitted them, I just couldn’t envisage how I could possibly cope with them. But I just buckled down and got on with it, and after a couple of days, they were ok.
At the end of my treatment, I went back to Vicky who did some Zoom! whitening to complete my lovely new smile.
So now the treatment is complete I just want to say a huge thank you to Badri in particular and everyone else who helped me – you really do amazing work. I couldn’t have been a more terrified patient when I first came to the practice. When I come now I still have a little knot in my stomach – I know it is irrational, but it is so much better than it was. I love my new smile – you have made a huge difference to how I feel about myself now.
