As soon as I could afford to do something about my smile I went to my dentist who recommended a few places to me in Manchester, Daresbury and Dental Solutions in Lymm.
Having visited the other two, when I went to Lymm I immediately warmed to the team who were really friendly and very normal. I had read the patient stories on the website beforehand which were useful too, but Gavin was great. He took the time to explain to me in simple terms what he could do for me- I instantly felt comfortable – even taking my denture out for the first time in front of a stranger. He recommended two Dental Implants and a supporting bridge. Nicky his implant facilitator then took me through different payment options and I decided to pay using interest-free credit – it made budgeting for the treatment option more manageable if I could pay for it in monthly chunks.
On the day of the implant surgery, I was nervous but I needn’t have worried, as Nicky held my hand throughout the surgery – I squeezed it so tight but it made a real difference! Everyone in the team asks how I’m getting on when they see me in the practice – being treated here is like being part of a large family!
I can’t begin to say how much my life has changed as a result of the treatment – I feel so much happier! For the first time, I can have a boyfriend, go out to festivals or on holiday, or stay over with friends without worrying about taking out a denture. The hygienists are brilliant too and are keeping my dental health on the right track now- I have about four different products that I now religiously use to keep everything clean and healthy.
