I had been a patient of Gavin’s some years ago then spent a few years at an NHS practice. In 2015 I suffered a trauma when I was knocked down by a heavy swing whilst in the park playing with my grandchildren. I lost two of my front upper teeth and unfortunately my NHS dentist was unable to help me so my son insisted that I got back in touch with Dental Solutions. I’m so glad I did. Gavin sorted the trauma to my teeth and organised for an implant with Richard Brookshaw to replace the two missing teeth. I was treated with great sympathy and kindness by the whole team and we successfully resolved what was a very traumatic experience for me. I was made to feel very welcome as though I had never been away.
A skiing accident a few years before had caused my lower teeth to become increasingly mis-aligned and crooked. I became extremely conscious of the way they looked when I spoke and so I felt after my implant treatment was complete that I could ask Gavin if he could do anything to help me.
Gavin immediately referred me to Badri Chari the resident Specialist Orthodontist at the practice. Badri was also completely sympathetic and came up with a plan of action to straighten my lower teeth. And just 9 months later my lower teeth were completely straight and I had my braces removed – I was unbelievably excited! I have a bonded retainer at the back of my teeth to keep them in position. I can now smile fully without a second thought. Everybody is lovely at the practice and seemed genuinely interested in how my treatment was progressing – I can’t recommend them highly enough, and already have done to my friends.
