My friend found Dental Solutions for me by searching online for All-on-4 dentists in Warrington. Over the years I’d had a few bad treatments at other dental practices with extractions and misshapen and miscoloured crowns. I wanted to find a new dentist that I was happy with. My teeth were becoming loose at the front and there were some more missing at the back and it had got to the stage where I was having great difficulty just eating food. There were a couple of places that came up in her search but I saw the consultation with Gavin and decided to pick up the phone and book an appointment.
The first meeting with Gavin was brilliant. The whole team made me very welcome right from the first meeting and I knew I’d come to the right place. Gavin recommended an upper and lower All-on-4, provided me with a written estimate, and I decided to go ahead with the treatment.
On the actual day of treatment, I have to admit that I was terrified. But I needn’t have worried, there was a team of people to look after me including Richard Brookshaw, Patrick the Anaesthetist and Nicky the implant facilitator together with Gavin himself. They were all brilliant at relaxing me and I honestly didn’t feel any pain.
The next day I was very bruised and looked and felt a bit like Wallace and Gromit but the discomfort soon went away with the prescribed paracetamol. I was surprised how quickly I healed over the following days.
Now the treatment is complete and my permanent teeth have been fitted, I feel great. It still feels odd getting used to chewing food again but I think that will improve over time as I regain my confidence. I don’t talk with a whistle either anymore which is so much better.
My whole treatment has been excellent from start to finish- and I’d say to anyone looking for this treatment to go to Dental Solutions if you can afford it- I’d been left some money by my Mum and I know that she would have been very happy that I’d spent it on myself with something permanent that I’d need every day. I have already recommended Dental Solutions to two other members of my family.
